About

The Biotage ® Selekt is an automated flash purification system. The system has two column channels with an external ELSD (evaporative light-scattering detector) for flash chromatography to purify compounds with little or no UV absorption.

Detailed Specifications

Column Channels: 2
Flow Rate Range: 1-300 mL/min
Pressure Range: 0-30 bar (0-3,000 kPa: 0-435 psi)
UV-Vis Detector Range: 198-810 nm
QR code reader for column identification
RFID enabled rack tracking

Safety Concerns

Solvent Waste Management

Ensure that the receiving waste container has sufficient capacity to accommodate the anticipated volume of solvent, preventing any risk of overflow.

Pressure Hazards

The system operates under pressure, which can cause tubing or connections to fail if improperly set up. Ensure all connections are finger-tight (do not overtighten) and the system is regularly inspected for leakage during priming before each run. Always release the system's pressure before disconnecting any components.
