What is the BioPACIFIC MIP Digital Ecosystem?
The BioPACIFIC MIP Digital Ecosystem (DE) is a comprehensive, custom-built suite of digital tools for collecting, managing, analyzing, viewing, and accessing the data generated within BioPACIFIC MIP.
As illustrated in Fig 1, the nexus of the DE is the User Portal (hereafter referred to as Portal). Through the Portal, users can register for or log into their account. The Portal provides navigation and inter-connectivity to other applications and services developed by and/or hosted at BioPACIFIC MIP, including: the electronic laboratory notebook (ELN), laboratory information management system (LIMS), materials library (Library), machine-assisted product screening (MAPS) survey tool, and other tools, as they are released.
