About

This vertical bandsaw is one of the primary cutting tools in the Innovation Workshop. Capable of resawing large blocks of wood or plastic, or cutting through softer metals, this bandsaw turns perfectly good raw material into scrap faster than any other tool. Blades can be swapped out with the help of a Workshop wizard to better suit the material being cut, and the speed is infinity adjustable to tune in the perfect cut.

Detailed Specifications

  • Table Size: 15.5 x 21.5 inch
  • Blade Length: 111 x 5/8 inch
  • Max Fence distance: 11 3/4 inch
  • Max Blade Guide Height (max work piece height):12.5”
  • Max blade speed: 45- 4400 SFM

Safety Concerns

This saw is incredibly powerful and finger/hands should be kept far away from the blade when in operation. Use a sled, push rod and fence whenever possible, and make sure the blade TPI is matched to the thickness and type of material. RUNNING THE BLADE TOO FAST WILL SHEER THE TEETH RIGHT OFF THE BLADE; if you do not know the correct feeds and speeds please ask a Workshop Wizard.
